Lumen’s founders, Simon and Marianne, have been directly investing in the global markets for over 25 years across asset classes, markets, regions/countries, and sectors in their mutual, institutional, and hedge funds.
Simon has previously worked as an economist at the International Monetary Fund and EEC, was a portfolio manager at Soros Fund Management and was the Chief Investment Officer in various firms including G. T. Global/LGT, RCM, and currently Lumen Advisors and Lumen Global Investments.
Marianne was hired by Simon at G.T. Global and has been in the same investment team for over 25 years responsible for investment research, portfolio management, data analysis, and implementation of the Lumen Compass and R4A. Previously, Marianne was a banker at Citicorp International Limited, Hong Kong, and is a CFA.
We are known for our original thinking, research, transparency, and value-based approach (the Lumen Global Value Compass) to markets and investing.
